Hello All,

Sorry to bother you with this... 2016 RAM 5.7 Express 38K. After about 3 hours after coming home from work I noticed a streak in the driveway about half way down from where my truck was parked. I noticed a fairly good size spot under the passenger front, between the passenger tire and firewall (I think). It does not smell like anything and looks like water. I crawled under the truck and noticed a black tube and every so often a small bead of water dripping from this black tube. It was enough after 3 hours to leave a large mark in the driveway. I live in Maine, and it was in the 50's today. It has been raining for the past 4 days, but no rain after 10am today. No rain on my way home. I did have the defroster on but it was the defrost and leg setting. Not full defrost. If it was the middle of the summer and 90 and I was using the AC I might have thought it was that. However, I really never noticed this much water even in the summer. I took pictures. Little worried about driving to work tomorrow. Can you let me know what you think this is?
Thank you so much!

If my memory serves me correct, I believe that is where the AC Evaporator's condensation comes out of, meaning its harmless. But in case I am wrong, check your coolant levels and make sure its full. Our trucks don't just store water, so its not like your losing your blinker fluid. ;)

Edited to change AC Compressor to AC Evaporator because I can't think.

It’s from your heater core/ac evaporator. It is water and it is supposed to come out of there and it’s normal. Especially on a hot day and you had the ac cranked. If it was cold and you had your defroster on that would be other other reason to see water coming out of there.

Its the condensation coming from the A/C evaporator, Be glad its coming out, some trucks don't have a nice nipple coming out of there.
