Kind of messing up in not making it available in the Limited and Tungston models - in the opinion of a current Limited owner. Also the Laramie.

Idk, same ol' same ol', I'll sit back and see what transpires with the return of the 5.7 liter HEMI. Some internal things gotta change in the engine, design wise, and an HEMI powered RCSB option would need to be made available.

Heck, FORD still has a RCSB as an order option with the FORD offering an v-8. Idk about the GM truck.

I don't want either of those ... I want a RCSB HEMI powered RAM 1500 ... I'll be back then or when.

Give them time. They are finally listening to customer demand. If the demand is there they’ll do it. My guess is though, the majority of buyers that can afford the high trim level trucks will prefer the more sophisticated Tubo-6.

I can afford the higher trim level but I don’t want a premium fuel motor that gets less mpg than a Hemi. If I wanted a hot rod truck I would have bought a TRX, or kept my old Lightning. I know some buyers are fine with it, but some aren’t. But I agree they will probably figure it out with a little time.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! It's got eTorque! :( No matter what, that's a deal killer for me. How sad.

I'm actually thinking of buying another used Longhorn without eTorque, to have a backup truck. Maybe even buy one with a blown engine (shouldn't be hard to find). And then install a 6.4L crate engine that @Wild one showed me a while back.

Kunis said they released then engine the same with etorque to speed up the launch.

My 2025 H.O. get the same milage as my 2020 5.7 but it has 145 more HP and 111 more torque.

I have a feeling we'll see a 6.4 option in the 1500, possibly an SRT 6.4 option.
If they do make a 1500 Ram with a 6.4 going forward, it won't be the same as the HD 6.4 engine.
If they do it will most likely use the car version of the 6.4 and it will be on a SRT or Sport package that will have reduced Tow/Haul capabilities. Having that format does conflict with the Hurricane H.O. so from that angle it's a lot less likely to have a hopped up 6.4 in a 1500.

Desperate move but the real question is will this turn around Ram. The eco boost is taking over the 5.0-liter V8 eventhough they still sell the 5.0, Chevy as well has engine options, but the real question is bringing back the hemi gonna help? I sure hope these bafoons fix the oiling issue, but for the cam/lifter issue the hemi imo would be the most popular engine choice out there. Which is why you don't run these things into the ground, they failed to fix this for 15 years or better. They ran the hemi name into the ground, the Mopar name into the ground and ram into the ground if sales number prove anything.

2020 - 563k, 2022- 468k, 2023-444k, 2024- 373k, worst news this year 1st quarter ram is down even further then last year down 11% MORE from the tragic last year. I wouldn't doubt this year ram falls below GM for crying out loud. Maybe these dummies ought to start hiring truck guys instead of poofy girls and euro donks if they actually wanna turn the table. Let's face it, we all are driving Pontiacs.

From Stephan- Hemi is a 1200 dollar option over the SO.

Limited & Longhorn get the Hemi at no extra cost since it comes with the HO.
RHO & Tungsten no Hemi

That is not a very good choice of badge for the slowest truck of the bunch.
They name it the protest badge, proves again they don't know their market, lol. Nah you wont find none of us hemi guys in any protest in the USA for the last twenty years with maybe the exception of a rally. I'm going out on the line here, I can name the last ten major protests in the USA and I would bet 100 dollars not a single ram forum member participated?

And then, what do they "think" we are protesting, the direction of Mopar? I don't hate the badge, I hate the concept of how out of touch these idiots are. Protest badge, lol.

Here is the worst part...

The engine will be virtually identical to the previously phased-out Hemi. Combined with the mild-hybrid eTorque system—which is mandatory equipment, by the way. It makes 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque.

We don't want that garbage...

Protest "a statement or action expressing disapproval of or objection to something:"

There is protest here all the time
