I like my Hemi 1500 and this is my first one, so I am not steeped in RAM and Hemi lore (except the old Hemi). But in my shaky opinion this all is developing as a confusing mess and really illustrates just how badly Stellantis really screwed the RAM pooch a few years ago. They never should have dropped the 5.7 hemi and replaced it with the turbo motors. They should have fixed the hemi and pressed on. Like the SO and RHO motors or not they have been a sales disaster. Now with all the scrambling around to re-introduce the hemi but keep the turbo motors with all the pricing being jacked around and engine availability in the various models a confusing mess, and the engine lineup lacking clarity and logic for most of the public - it reminds me of the squirrel in the middle of the road racing around in circles while my pickup is quickly bearing down on it. I don’t know if this is going to salvage their market share and sales or not. If RAM can’t demonstrate some distinct incentives to buyers like reliability, value, quality, customer service, I don’t know if the customers will be coming back. They may just end up like that flattened squirrel in the middle of the road.Just a personal observation and opinion. You can fact check it all you want, I don’t give a ****.
Absolutely!
