My wife’s’07 has an ac leak somewhere. About two weeks ago I put some stop leak with the dye in the system and now today I open the hood and the whole front of the motor has something white all over it. I couldn’t rub it off but it rinsed off at the car wash.
Do you think this might have been the dye or something else?
Anybody have an idea? I’m puzzled because the dye was red, but maybe when it dries it turns white, IDK.
