My 07 just hit 86,000mi and it's still running good, some front end suspension stuff has worn and I have replaced some and will do other parts and there is some rust in places that would be expected here in Ohio. Also my truck is still nearly stock.

I have thought about maybe trading it in for a newer truck with less miles but I think I am just going to keep the body and frame in good condition and just keep the truck and when the day comes when the engine or transmission dies then I'll put a new one in.

Sounds cheaper then having to get a whole new truck and this way I can continue to mod it and not have to worry about having to start from scratch on a new truck.

Any input or suggestions?

86K by todays standards isnt really considered "high" miles. I say keep it, til you've doubled it. Unless you're really banking on the higher trade in value.

I think it's a good idea, I almost traded mine in, but you will never get back out of it the money you sunk into it, then when it's time to replace the motor/trans, you can go bigger and better!
