I'm still learning all of the sounds on my diesel truck I bought recently, and heard a whining sound the other day going down the highway.
After some trial and error, I found out that the sound changes with my throttle position, only when the radio is on at low volume. If I turn it up, the music likely drowns it out. If I turn the radio off, the sound goes away.
This is on an 8.4" screen, listening to satellite radio. I haven't checked this with a CD, or AM/FM, I may need to do that.

I'm thinking I should look into shielding either the throttle wires, or some of the radio wires. Has anyone experienced a similar issue, or know where I should start looking for wires to shield?

Hey JMod45,

We understand why this whining noise would be concerning. We recommend having your dealer look into this for you, as they are in the best position to assist. If you would like any additional assistance, please feel free to send us a private message.
