speakers......again

Ok I know Alotta u guys are putting the kicker 3.5 in dash and the 6x9s in the door or doors for crew cab, my question is since I don't want a sub and amp is the 6x9 in the rear door have enough bass just a lil thump or has anyone ran a different size in the rear door for that

6 or 6.5" with a tweeter.

For a plug and play, you can't beat a 6x9; the cone area gives great bass response. Components up front can clean up the upper midrange/treble a bit, but possibly at the cost of more upfront midbass. The 6.4" comp vs 6x9 option is your preference.

how much was that lil setup? and did the plate come with it or have to fab it, and did u need an amp or jsut wired into factory wiring?

The plate was 10 bucks. Just have to trim the spot for the tweeter.

I amped these off of my 1000.5, but they'd probably sound pretty good as is!
