My speedo, temp and oil pressure gauges have decided to only work some times. I find that when it is cold out they will not work and as the cab heat increases they will eventually start to work and then read correctly. I have searched this and have not found anything. I know there is a fix for the tach when it stops working and I'm wondering if there is a similar fix for this problem. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate hearing them.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a bad ground wire for the gauge panel. Try tracing that to the ground point, take off at both ends and clean, then tighten back down. Good luck

Just to maybe help anyone else out who has this issue, here is what I did to fix it. I sent my gauge cluster out to get fixed but the company was unable to fix it because the main chip was fried apparently. Both local Dodge dealers said they could not help me because the clusters are no longer available. I bought a used cluster off FB Marketplace and installed it and did the 'instrument cluster' test and it all worked fine but when I went to start the truck the anti-theft system kicked in. At least I think that's what happened. The hazards started flashing the grid heater and CEL were flashing quickly and when I opened the door the horn went off. I went through several procedures that I found on the interweb that were supposed to reset the anti-theft system and then used my scanner to reprogram the ECU. After doing all that the truck started up no problem and all the gauges work perfectly. The only issue is that the new cluster shows 20,000 for KM's than my original but I'm approaching 500,000 anyway so I don't think it matters much. If anyone else is thinking of swapping instrument clusters in an 06 I think it is imperative that the cluster has EXACTLY the same part number as your original and be prepared to fiddle around to get the anti-theft system to reset. That was my experience anyway. There were a pile of different experiences on the net, all I can say is this was how it went for me.
