Has anyone successfully fit up the genuine ram splash guards (w/Fender flares)?

I received both rear and front sets and went to install them and both front and rear have big gaps around the area lower transition of the fender flare.

Pictures attached, I'd stay that the gap when minimized as much as possible is still all of 3/16" and it looks like garbage.

I'm hoping someone knows a few tricks to get them to fit right.

Thanks,

Dallas

That's terrible fitment for an OEM part, makes me cringe seeing that on top of the painted flare

Are you sure that's the one for the Gen 5 and not the Gen 4. Seems like the only reason it wouldn't fit right, is if it's for the wrong vehicle.

The fitment was the same when I put them on my truck. One of the reasons I removed them and went with rubber ones.

Mine fit perfectly. Just made sure they were flush when I tightened up all the fender flare screws.

Ended up taking them off because I plan to get bigger tires.

I didn’t take too many pics. But front and back were flush all around.

I'm hoping someone knows a few tricks to get them to fit right.

Try using a heat gun to warm them up on a bench. With gloves on(to prevent burns) mock them on the truck and try to mold the problem areas till it cools.

Maybe double check the placement of the holes that were drilled? I can see that causing alignment issues if it is a tad off. I pushed the guards a little bit to ensure a tight fit.

After checking everything and there is still a gap, I would send it back for a replacement. I was impressed witn how clean mine looked.

I still have my guards so I held the right rear against the body and it lines up perfectly.

I think this may be the issue. The drilled hole is off just a tad, so if this is not flush, it throws off everything above. Looks like the guard should be shifted just a bit to the right and up. That bottom corner is a hair out of alignment.

I did this step last so after all the screws were in and everything lined up, I drilled the hole with the guard mounted.

Nice, thanks for the pics. I will try the fit up again this week. I haven't yet drilled any holes just in case I ended up not liking them or the fit was off. Some of those look to fit up really nice.
