We have 2 RAM sport 1500's. A 2018 and a 2013. The 2013 has the molded splash guards front and rear, where as the 2018 just has a plastic edge piece. I was going to order a set just like the 2013, but then realized my running boards are longer which appears as though it will interfere with the molded guards. Attached is a picture of each to see the length difference. One thought is to shorten the running board by a couple inches. I like the molded style, do not want to go with just flat guards. I've narrowed it down to RAM oem, WeatherTech and Husky. Anybody else run into this, and what was you solution?

I believe there are nuts and bolts on the bottom of the running boards that you could loosen and slide the running boards back enough to mount the splash guards. I have the Husky‘s on my 2018 Ram and I think they look the best of what I have seen.

On my 2015 the molded hit the black plastic cap of the boards ! Not sure if the boards could be slid back a little, Would be good to know as I am not real crazy for my rubber splash guards

Mine has the longer running boards that basically run right to the wheel well edge on the back. No room to slide back.
I see one vote for Husky and one for Weathertech. Could you guys post a pic of yours?

ive got the longer running boards on my 2017. I bought the husky liner splash guards.. they fit perfectly and look great.. maybe like a paper widths between the splash guards and the running boards..

On my 2018 Bighorn I used the WeatherTech splash guards front and rear with the wheel to wheel running boards. No issues and had clearance on the fronts between the running board and splash guard.

I had that problem once. I took the running boards off and swapped sides. The mounting distances are the same but the rear of the boards were just short enough to clear the front flaps. Just sayin.

I had a 2103 Longhorn and a 2017 Longhorn both with running boards ... I ordered the WeatherTech mudguards for both and they fit fine ... I now have a 2020 Longhorn and put WeatherTech guards on it as well ... I had no issue with clearance ... If you go to their site they will ask the distance between the bottom of your fender and the running boards (front guards) to ensure the right fit when entering your trucks options ...

I have MOPAR, probably Weathertech, on my 2018 2500 with same boards, about 1/2 clearance.

2019 Bighorn CC Stock Mopar Boards with Weathertech Mud Flaps:

JUST FYI, My front mud flaps have a spacing of 2 1/4" from the back of the flap to the running board. Of course rear does not matter, since no boards that far back.

I'll stay with my DuraFlap. I didn't have to drill any holes, and they really do the job. Looks great to.
