You can use 2019 as your truck year and they will fit. I just ordered a Mopar set a 4 on amazon. Looking at the Mopar site they list that they fit 2019 and 2020. Amazon was cheaper with free shipping.

Similarly, the AMP Research website did not show compatibility of their power running boards with 2020, only 2019 Gen 5 1500, but Amazon did. So I took a screen shot showing thus and ordered them. Got them mounted this past week and they fit/work fine.

The splash guards and running boards make a great deal of difference in keeping the sides of the truck clean. I could never figure out why anyone would want the power retracting side steps that leave the truck vulnerable.

I have the dealer add the factory splash guards on my SUV and did it myself on my 2500 truck. The prep guy at the dealer did a terrible job and so with my next truck I will add them myself and do it right.
I can see an advantage of having the steps retract to lift them up and out of the way so as not to get banged up by hitting boulders when off roading

I like those but can they install over the stock spats/rock guards? Could you post some up close pics of what they look like installed? Did they require any drilling in the wheel liner? Thank you.

Anyone know which is a shorter mud flap....Husky or Weather Tech? I need some to keep the dirt off the side of truck, but am not a huge fan of the look of any flap. So, I'd like the shortest possible. Thanks!

I would go with duraflap or Rokblotz mudflats, seen issues with molded flaps. I have Rokblotz flaps and are laser cut to fit around corner protectors, look great and are very durable.

Not sure what problems you're referring to, but Weathertech provides 3M clear "stuff" to apply to the body where the mudflap contacts the paint surface. Presumably to protect the paint and keep it from looking scuffed if/when the mudflap is removed.

I put the Husky's on mine. As far as the "no drill" design goes, I couldn't get the tape to stick well and wouldn't trust it. I ended up drilling in the liner for the included optional screws.

I added the weather tech flaps and like them even more installed than in the website photos.

Just to clarify, the Weathertech No-Drill ones don't use tape. They use the existing fender liner screws. And if IIRC they give you an extra screw to replace a pop-in fastener.

I removed my front mudflaps last night to do some trimming to clear my 12.5x35s and found that this is a valid concern. I had missed putting the clear film on during installation - found it when I was all done, and it was freezing out and didn't feel like doing it all over again. Always meant to go back and do it "some day". Well yesterday was the day. This is what happens if you don't use it:

Hello everyone, I’m new here and just recently bought my first Dodge Ram. I have a 2020 Ram 2500 and I’m having trouble finding mud flaps. I’ve tried Husky and just yesterday I tried installing the heavy duty rubber OEM ones, which do not fit very well and I did not like the way they fit, so took them off and will be returning them this week. So, my question is what should I do now? I’m thinking weather tech or the Rokblokz I just discovered on here. Is there another brand you guys would recommend. Also, my truck is a Bighorn without the fender flares. If anyone has any pics of the same model that would help me out as well. Thanks.

The Mopar ones fit fine. I have them on my 2020 2500. They were pretty simple to install also. Not sure why you had issues or didn't like them. There are other brands so I'm sure you'll find one that you like.

For starters, if I pay $150 then I shouldn’t get plastic pop rivers to use to install, they should be bolts and washers Like everyone else does and on top of that you have to buy a tool to put them on because of the cheap plastic rivets, so that was really disappointing. Second of all when they were installed I could grab the outside edge of the mud flap and pull it away from the fender and didn’t fit flush. In my opinion that’s just poor design. I had molded ones on my 2011 GMC that I put on when I bought it new and never had this issue and never had an issue till I got rid of it a couple weeks ago. Can you send me some pics of your setup, maybe there’s a trick to it but it is simple to do, it’s just not what I expected for an OEM product. I really wanted to use them and like the design, I just think they need to come up with a better design in my opinion. Thanks for your input.

Wheel to wheel running boards provide more protection than mud flaps or splash guards. After the last deal prep kit screwed up the factory ones I will no buy them myself and put them on properly.

There is no 2020 Dodge Ram. Look for mud flaps for a 2020 Ram 2500 and you will have more success.

I have been very happy with Weathertech.

I went to the Husky site to order a set of splash guards and I got this:

Does anyone know why the 2020 flaps don't fit the 2021?
