"the slapper hit the springswith a rubber bumper, stopping the rotation and keeping the tireon the pavement. This was not completely efficient, but it did stop the average peel out from the stoplight wheelhop.[/QUOTE]"

First 2 pics (black and yellow) are what I grew up calling "Traction Bars". They went on vehicles with leaf springs only.

Pics 3 & 4 are "Ladder Bars". Typically used with coil spring suspensions, but could be used with leaf springs (usually had to be welded to the axle housings).

And I would NEVER call out a Master Carpenter. I LOVE makin' sawdust! :)

Well I don’t see anyone that makes traction bars/ladder bars for our 1500’s so I may try different shocks since that was listed as a possible fix and the rough country shocks are pretty ******.

Better shocks will certain help keep the axle more controlled. My BFG's still hop in certain wet conditions, but going from the stock crap to 5100's helped quite a bit. I also just took a look at the core arms and they look pretty promising. Just might have to add those to the to do list for later on myself.

Yea I emailed core to see what they thought but I’ll probably try the shock route first and go from there.

So the rear bilsteins you have for your lift is this 33-185569 part number? I think these will help out a lot cause rough country’s shocks suck.

you have to buy the superlift bushing kit too

Bilstein 5100 46MM rear shocks P/N 33-185569 (2x)
superlift bushing kit 77-80038 (2x)

Bought my shocks at summitracing
