A week or so ago I noticed my driver's side headlight fogged up. Obviously there is a leaky seal. I figured I'd wait till it happened again before going to the dealership. While looking closer at the headlight I was taken back by how shotty the trim around the projector bezel looks. I checked the passenger side and it has the same defect. Has anyone else encountered this wrinkled plastic bezel and if so how likely is a warrantied replacement?

I have the Sport headlights and I do not have those wrinkles. I would take it back to the dealer and get them replaced under warranty. When you say "fogged" up, do you mean down by the LED turn signals? If so, then good luck getting them replaced. Chrysler has guidelines out there referencing this very thing. I allows for some fogging for a limited amount of time so long as there aren't actual water droplets forming on the inside of the lens. There are a lot of threads out there for the last few yrs talking about this very same thing. I've been a part of those conversations because mine used to do it too. I fixed it myself (sort of). See my thread below.

I've recently learned that's caused by the sun hitting the projector, like a magnifying glass effect (I have the same thing on both my retroed heads). It melts them a bit, but shouldn't go any further.

Thanks for the reply and link to your thread. The fogging is primarily down by the leds so I will just go the route of diy fix.

This makes sense, just a little frustrating. I'll see what my local dealer can do. Thanks for the information/observation as I don't feel too bad hearing it wouldn't have come from the factory looking like that.

I haven't seen the back of a sport headlight but for any headlight ensure the dust caps on the back are seated properly and the rubber gasket is intact to prevent moisture in the enclosure.
