The problem with getting a loaded sport is the value is still less. Laramie will be worth more as it is a higher trim. While your at it just get the Laramie Limited and you get both :)

I have always liked both styles. It would be a tough choice for me as well. They are both great looks at what they are meant for.

I could honestly say that applies to either but I'm a cheap ass. I keep my rides for 10 years or so, avoid the top end of the trim models, and spend the savings on black market live human hunts of abducted convicted criminal game reserves

Part of liking the chrome bumpers for me might be my age, 41. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, where everything had chrome bumpers, and you could even hit stuff (or be hit) lightly on purpose or not, and there'd be no damage. The chrome bumpers on trucks was sort of part of their toughness.

Don't get me wrong, I know bumpers today, even chrome ones, are like tin cans compared to those days, but it reminds me of them.

Cloth seats don't need cooling. Grew up in TX and would never, ever, choose cooled leather over cloth. No comparison when trying to eliminate swamp ass
I grew up in TX and still live here, I would never ever give up my cooled leather for cloth. You are right, no comparison when trying to eliminate swamp ass, that cool air works every time!

True I had a loaded up LT that cost as much as a base LTZ, at trade in time it was still viewed as an LT and priced accordingly. Painted parts, and decals dont add value they just add price at the initial buy. Things like leather, engines, tranny, sun roofs etc do add value.

If you don't like chrome why would you get a Lonestar or Big Horn?

When we started shopping, we began looking at used trucks. All of the chrome bumpers were rusting at each rock pit.
We ended buying a new sport, and 3M filmed' the entire front end. 3 years later, not one scratch or film mar- I LOVE that stuff!
Sport all the way!!
