Hello
Was wondering if anyone here has had spray in bed liner such as linex sprayed on the rockers and or fender flares of their truck?

If so are you happy with it? Is it fading? Hard to clean?

I'm thinking of doing this to mine as it should be virtually maintenance free and stand up well. Just worried about fading.

I included an example picture.

Thanks for the advice.

I had my bed sprayed with Line-x premium. Costs a little more than the standard stuff but guaranteed not to fade. If it does they'll fix it. It does have a "wet" shiny look it though so if you want flat black I don't know what to tell you.

if I drove mine more I think this would be a great option, I hear they can even colour match these days.

My father has had his rockers, wheel wells, etc sprayed. 4 years now, occasional beach use, no rust. He IS pretty **** about rinsing it off as well as he can after every beach trip though.

I had my rockers sprayed 3 years ago. Still shiny black and no more rock chips. I love it.

Here's some more pics of local trucks I've seen done but have not had the opportunity to speak to their respective owners to get their 2 cents.

The black truck has rockers and wheel arch done.
Blue ram just has rockers down.
Both are sprayed with armaguard which according to my research will fade fairly quick.

Talking with guys and other forums/research seems like linex premium is the best choice for zero fading issues.

Just have to decide if I'm 100% committed to doing my truck and pull the trigger.

Here's another local guys truck. He said it has faded in just over a year.

Anyone else have pics and opinions?

I've had Line-X color match on my rockers and underneath my flares for a couple of years now, and doesn't seem to have faded at all. More expensive than their regular line, but it's easy to clean and I like it. Don't have any decent pics on my phone, but here's one from today. I can snag a better one for you tomorrow if we don't get hit with a **** load of snow.

Thanks for the input. That's one nice rig by the way.

Do you know if linex can color match any factory color?

Thanks man, didn't realize the pic was so blurry. I can't see why they wouldn't be able to match any color, as long as you know the paint code.
