To me, this sounds like a dumb question to ask, and it's probably been asked already. But, I couldn't find it through the search bar. So, I'm going to ask anyway...

How are the Spyder projector style lights with LED bulbs? Has anyone tried it and are they worth the swap?

I ask because, (A) I have ordered the Farhem LED bulbs for my truck (OEM Quads). I have the fog lights installed and have the low beams that I need to install. I also just recently ordered the high beams to install. (B) Was talking to my neighbor last night (recently moved in) and he has a pair of Spyder headlight housings that he was going to put on his wife's truck, but they traded her truck in. He got them as a package deal with the taillights and never installed them. He offered them to me, if I wanted them. I don't know what model they are, but they are a projector style headlight... hence the question - will my new LED bulbs fit and work in the Spyder projector style housings? :)

Not sure which spyder headlight you're referring to. I have a pair of light bar ones, they take an H1 bulb instead of the stock bulb.

As far as lighting quality is concerned, i like them, but am also still in the process of getting them properly aligned. Works been too busy to be able to bother with them much, adjustment screws are a PITA to get to

Did this get answered? lol if not, no they will not fit. A projector lens is an H1 bulb. The quad headlights take a H11 bulb and the high is a 9005 in both. Fogs are in at a 9006/9005, both fit in my 2011 1500 5.7.
