I don't seem, I DO have problems with them because they are just like Nike in the sense that thry are all hype, very little substance.

Thry butn out far more often, burn bluer, causing issues actually seeing any better.

It has been proven time and time again that bluer light makes it harder to see clearly in pretty much all circumstances, even when more light is put out.

Find some 3500k color bulbs, and they will look "yellow" but in almost every situation, they will be easier for the driver to see from the same lumen and focus.

Aiming your headlights to JUST below level, using your fogs, adding better output bulbs such as LED or HID (as long as they get the right beam pattern and no scatter), turning down interior lights, cleaning your windshield are all useful in seeing better at night.

Having sold them (and subsequently returning a ridiculous number of them due to burn outs or crap output), I feel I am qualified to make a statement on their quality and performance....Silverstars are worthless. The Ultras are OK, but still have longevity issues.

Common sense isn't...nor is common decency.
That’s your experience with them. Fair enough.

I’ve had them in 9 vehicles for a total time of probably 12 years and have never had one burn out. I’ve had both regular silverstars and the ultras. I’ve done side by side comparison with the ultra vs oem bulbs and the ultras provided better visibility.

I feel I’m just as qualified as you, though my experience is different than yours. If I had the quads still, chances are I would have a set in them as well.

Agreed the Ultras are a decent bulb...it is the regular silverstars I have issue with.

That said, I agree you are perfectly qualified to provide your experience testimony and hope I didn't come across as stating you aren't. I was simply trying to provide context for the OP.

Plenty of people get on here, have had exactly no useful experience...or ONE negative experience and blame every failure of anything on such. (Think, ****** truck because I don't like my headrest type reaction)...

I think the blinding from an led in the quad housing isn't from lack of quality but rather because the quads and their reflectors are not made for LED.

I wasn't specifically saying Ram quads, just some vehicles I have seen around here that are running Autohole LED bulbs that are cheap and don't shine down the road.
