Starter just spinning 3.0 Hurricane

2025 3.0 SO 9600 miles. Stoped for fuel and starter just spins 8-10 seconds and then stops. Did that 20 times then saw the battery light come on. Jumped it with no difference. Truck sat approximately 3 hours before I called for a tow. ( not sure where I wanted to take it). Waiting for tow truck to arrive and tried once more. Started up immediately, that was 10 days ago and running perfectly. How do you diagnose that problem?

Take it to a dealer its under warranty wont cost you a dime not even the tow they have to pay for it.

If all you heard was the starter making noise without it engaging the engine then it's most likely a mechanical issue with the starter itself. It's possible the battery is weak but usually presents other symptoms.
As mentioned the truck should still be under warranty, take it back to the dealership
