starting to think about gears..

starting to get my mind set on buying gears. i was thinkin 4:10 but maybe even 4:56s
i have a 5.7 hemi with heads,flowmaster,intake,superchip. and for the wheels i have 22x9.5 with 305/45s

anyone got any input on what i should get? and how much im gonna end up spending... and where to purchase from? never bought gears before so dont wanna buy ****** ones or whatever

4.56s get my vote for sure. no second thoughts at all. you could buy some from the vendor here 3rdstrikeperformance. lots of guys have been getting gears from him recently. or you can just purchase the gears at the shop doing the install. just make sure you use a good shop.

thanks for the quick answers guys, once im done saving up ill hit up 3rd strike. i have a guy who owes me for an install on a rear since he fukked my last one up (good guy and good mechanic just messed it up) so he said if i get new gears he'll install for free

Im guessing you have 3.92s in there now being a 4x4 so going to a 4.10 wont be that much of a change. 4.56s seem to be everyones gear of choice in these trucks.

I'd go with 4.56. It will probably run you about a grand for parts.

i have headers, and not really tryin to tear the motor apart she hasnt beent he most reliable truck so im just trying to squeeze a little extra juice outta her without to much damage ehh? lol
