Good day eh.
Well not so much for me. Truck died a very noisey death. Everything seemed normal with the truck operation minus the fact I had experienced a few situations of the starter acting up (turning the key and nothing then turning again and it started fine)
Well on the d day I went to start it after just stopping to pick up lunch and it did nothing on turning the key the first go. Tried again and it got stuck winding up trying to start so I turned it off. Tried again. And this time it attempted to start but made some noise like maybe it was choked out and then died after a sec. I tried again and this time it rumbled worse than an old tractor and within a second started clanging and bangin like what I can simply describe as a very bad sound similar to that of an engine with roda ready to go.
I've done very little in diagnostics so far as I don't even know where to start.
Was it the starter?
Maybe the engine?
Maybe the timing chain?
Distribution cap?
Somewhat grasping at straws here.
And if course the tow truck driver left the key in the on position when he dropped it off so no I have a dead battery in there(will trickle charging save it)
Thanks a ton of you are giving me feedback.
