Steering column panel removal

Hello, I need to pull the panel under the steering column. The Hood latch release is attached to this. How is it removed before the panel is pulled? Thanks

There is a couple of screws along the bottom. Then give it a good tug from the top. It's held in by clips

Thanks, got that done, how do you pull the hood latch off the panel?
