Steering wheel audio controls

Trying to pinch some pennies so got into a Tradesman 2013 Ram 1500. I'm going to be replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket radio. Is there any way to install steering wheel audio controls with an aftermarket radio? So far, my research has told me no. Thoughts?

iDatalink Maestro is what I put in my 2015 with my aftermarket system and it works amazing!!
