Steering wheel scrubbing

Hey guys after I upgraded my steering wheel to the leather version I've found that when I turn the wheel, it scrubs on the steering column plastic only at certain angles of steering. I cant seem to figure this out and it drives me nuts... any recommendations??

Maybe the wheel is bent.

Get a dremmel tool and take a little of the plastic off.
