I found a leather steering wheel out of a 15 diesel truck. Can I transplant my shift buttons for the 8 speed trans into this wheel. Does any one know if I would need additional wiring for the radio controls to work or is it plug and play?

Seats and such usually has leather wheels in Stock with the audio controls and shift buttons already on it. I'd hit him up on ebay

So you currently have the audio controls and the new wheel doesn't?

Or is it the other way around? There is a different harness for the audio controls....

Check the link above. You should see what you need.

I currently don't have the audio controls but I have the shift buttons for the trans. The new wheel has the audio controls but no shift buttons. So I would want to switch the shift buttons from my wheel to the new one. And I would need a different wire harness for the audio controls right?

Did the harness come with the wheel? If so it should plug right up. Otherwise you need the harness for the radio controls. It will also have the plugs for the front buttons.
