The dealer installed a 4" Mopar lift soon after I bought the truck. I put 20x10 -18 MotoMetal 351s and 35x12.5/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers G2s on it. After rebalancing at the Discount Tire I bought the wheels/tires from 3 times and letting an independent shop Road Force balance them I swapped them for the same size BFG A/T KO2s because there was a persistent vibration.

DT road force balanced the BFGs from the get go but I'm still getting a fairly bad vibration between 62-73 or so. The vibration is different than with the Nittos (maybe even a little worse). Would it make sense to have DT reinstall the factory wheels/tires and put the aftermarket wheels/tires on one at a time to see if we could isolate the issue to an individual wheel or tire? It never vibrated that I recall with the factory wheels/tires on it.

My hunch is that after 2 sets of brand new tires doing the same thing that it may be a wheel causing the vibrations that would have to be replaced.

I agree with the wheel theory as I put two different sets of tires on my inlaw car, and had some serious vibrations. Replaced all (4) wheels and it was gone. The reason that I replaced all was due to the fact that their car is a 2005 and those wheels oem cost 2xs as much as an aftermarket set .

I'd like to narrow it down to just a single wheel if possible. DT would definitely work with me if I need new ones though. After 4k miles on the Nittos all I had to do was pay the difference in price between them and the BFGs.

Are your wheels hubcentric or do you have the spacers installed to make them hubcentric?

I was informed by Discount Tire last weekend that hubcentric rings are for lower speeds and not highway speeds. I'm not a tire guy so I cannot say if that statement is true or false. I'm having the same problem with my Fuel Mavericks and Toyo M/T at 55 mph plus. I had them rebalance them with no luck.

I'm in the same boat on what my next step is going to be.

If you do a search here, you'll find vibrations are common. Some have driveshafts replaced, others' replace the factory wheels/tires (you've already done). Some learn to live with it.

I rotated my spare to each corner trying to narrow it down and I've rotated several times. It keeps coming back. I'm getting ready to buy new tires to see if that helps. Might also consider new rotors if it doesn't go away with new tires.

I'm going to take the truck back to DT in a couple weeks with my factory wheels/tires and put them back on to see if the vibrations are still present. If the vibes are gone my plan is to remove one factory wheel and put on one aftermarket at a time until I hopefully find the culprit and go from there.

As far as learning to live with it, that is not an option. I will go back to stock before I do that. These vibrations drive me nuts!

Mine didn't vibrate stock and I never drove it with stock wheels/tires after the lift. I want to drive it with stock wheels/tires to see if it vibrates or not. If it does then i guess it's more of a lift issue than wheels/tires. The lift is a Mopar (Superlift) 4" with bilstiens front and rear. Front bils are set at .7. Lift was installed by the dealer.

Will post the results when I go back to DT in a couple of weeks.

I'm surprised not to see any discussion of alignment in this thread. More specifically, toe-in, and in connection to shake in the steering wheel. Another symptom to watch out for is in low speed turns when you can get the sensation of the front wheels "walking", as in "left, right", through the turn. Increasing the toe-in just a little, particularly with tires/wheels larger than original, is a good idea. I'd start with setting the toe at the maximum of the spec range.
