Stock 8.4a Head Unit

Does anyone know how much power the stock 8.4a head unit puts out on the 2013s? I just replaced my speakers(see mod list for brand and P/Ns) all around and I know some of them definitely aren't getting all the power they could be.

It depends on which system you have alpine or non alpine but in general most aftermarket speakers aren't getting power they deserve from stock equipment.

I agree. I was just seeing if anyone knew. I have the 6 speaker (non-Alpine) system.

Easy enough, get a LOC and a 4ch and you are good to go.

^ What he said. OE HU is probably putting out 15-18W RMS at best. That's a guestimate.

What is an "LOC"? And I assume you mean a 4 channel amp?

Line Out Converter, yep I'm talking about a 4 channel amp and honestely I think 15-18rms is a very optimistic power rating.
