Could anyone tell me off-hand the exact spacing between the outlets of the stock muffler? I hate to take it off just to measure. Thanks!

(My apologies if this has been answered before... I tried unsuccessfully to find it)

If distance is 2.75 add 2.25 for pipe diameter & center to center will be 5"

Thanks so much! I am looking at swapping out the muffler, but the new one has inside to inside spacing of 2-1/16 or about 4.25" center to center. If I installed the stock tailpipes, would this be enough to cause the tips to not line up correctly?

So you'd have to push each pipe over 1/3 inch per side. doesn't sound like much, but..after i smacked my rear bumper and caught the top of the tailpipe i was able to notice it was slightly off. and i think a 3rd of an inch off would be noticeable if you left it. but then I think i'm pretty OCD. I swear that my pipe tips aren't even height wise and then i measure them and they are fine. drives me nuts. lol

Why dont you just loosen the 13mm nut and space them out evenly? The stock tailpipes are on a ball and socket setup. So you can move them however you want.
