Did you just take a saw to your exhaust and hope for the best? If you want to get rid of the def and other emissions garbo in the diesels you have to do a full delete. Which is illegal so getting a shop to do it for you is easier said than done.

You can get away with some diy stuff on the gassers but the diesels it's all or none. Even if you don't end up in limp mode, they will throw codes and just be a pain if they think something is wrong.

I put a turbo back straight pipe still has egr but i’m thinking buying a tune and unplugging egr will fix it
best of luck I would assume you need a tune because you removed DEF ect. Make sure you keep all of your old exhaust parts ect if you ever plan to sell the truck you will need it.

If you don't have a tune already, you need that first and foremost. Lose the EGR also, buy a delete kit for the EGR cooler as it could still start leaking.

Any delete tune should render the EGR valve useless. Deleting the EGR valve and cooler will ensure that the coolant side doesn't spring a leak or the exhaust side open passing exhaust into the intake.

You need a tune, all those sensors and components are now unplugged and the computer is looking for those items. Diesels of all makes have been this way for years. You will need a tuner and a tune that deals with taking care of those removed items. Make sure you talk to whomever you purchase the tuner from that you can have a tune for your current mods.
