Hello John Ryan, I don’t know the answer to your question, try posting it in the “Lifted” or “General” sections. More members will see it there, this is a great forum with lots of knowledge people, I’m sure someone will know. Are the spacers stock or part of a leveling kit, they were in my 2015 1500 Big Horn

Part of a garbage leveling kit. throw those in the trash were they belong !
The 1/2” puck which those are actually aren’t that bad. I’ve been running them for over a year with no issues. Most high end shocks like fox or king actually allow for almost 1” more droop with less preload. This allows for 1/2” more droop and lift without adding preload. Anything above this is where you get issues with binding suspension.Part of a garbage leveling kit. throw those in the trash were they belong !
@DILLIGAF not sure what’s funny about my comment? Normally I would agree that all spacers are junk because they cause issues in suspension travel. I’m only trying to understand how something like these that have been proven to work and not cause issues is trash. I did my research on the stock suspension and other aftermarket parts before I bought these spacers to make sure the stock suspension would have 0 issues with binding. I’ve also taken my truck off-road with no binding. The 1/2” puck which those are actually aren’t that bad. I’ve been running them for over a year with no issues. Moved where?Thread moved.
I bought a set of OE type loaded strut from NAPA that came with them same spacers long ago . If you had one of the slightly taller versions of the 1500 like the TRX was before you would add that so you didn't lose the added height the TRX had . same as the Bilstein 5100 has a stock setting and above that a .7 notch is the stock notch if you were installing them on the older TRX model. I added it to my 17 with Eibach spring / Bilstein 5100 at stock setting but didn't like the stiffer ride so they are back on the shelf with a bunch of old spacers
What 3” lift. And what was On your truck when you took it apart?I'm doing a 3"lift with new struts and upper control arms. Wondering if I should put them back in then? My truck did come with the mysterious extended ride height.
Those spacers were on when I took it apart and installed adj billistien shocks. Now I m doing 3" Rough country (N3struts/upper control arms). What 3” lift. And what was On your truck when you took it apart?
Ok. I would not install the puck spacer with the new kit you are installing. Those spacers were on when I took it apart and installed adj billistien shocks. Now I m doing 3" Rough country (N3struts/upper control arms).
