Changed the 8.4Uconnect HU to get rid of the bass rolloff and volume limit. And it's still there!!! Radio has no volume change from 28 to 38 and the bass thins out when I raise volume but is rumbles pretty good with the volume low, What do I do? I have a 2016 ram 1500 bighorn 4x4 no factory amp stock 6 speaker setup with a CTsounds 1500.1D and two CTsounds 12"hydro 12's wired to 1ohm. AGMbattery under the hood and a second one in the cab all ofc 1/0 wire front to back and in the big 3 upgrade and new headunit has 4volt preamp. Running off the maestro rr behind the the headunit

What are your settings on the amp? I know it has an LPF, bass boost, etc. There is a way to make sure the amp input gain is set correctly (using a 1.5V or 9V battery IIRC), can Google the process and follow along.

I dont think its the issue but Id leave the Maestro out of the circuit for now. Head unit RCA outputs right to the sub amp. I realize it will cut off sound to the factory speakers, but you should at least be able to get an idea of how the subs are working.

Does the head unit itself have an amp built in? If so, Id consider getting (or making) a harness to go from the head unit to the factory speaker wires and power them off of the HU, at least for now. It should just be wires...no processors, data, etc. I know it results in a loss of steering wheel controls, but the less devices inline the better, for troubleshooting purposes.

Well you definitely over killed on the wiring and batterie's for such a small system. First thing that comes to mind is you do not have the levels set properly. Not familiar with your Maestro and how the line out levels are set with that, over the years that is where i had issues is the line out conversions were sometimes troublesome to set. They you need to set your gain so all your speakers are balanced. The OEM head unit is probably running out of Jam once you get to the higher volume limits so you will not see any difference .

Have it set to 30v using a multimeter it should be 31.6v but didn't want to have it right at the limit. And went behind with an o-scope to check for distortion. Bass boost off lpf off

Have you tried taking the maestro out of the circuit?

What is handling the crossover duty to the sub amp? With the LPF off, something should be limiting the frequencies it receives.

Noticed the product page says the amp has a remote bass knob...is it connected?

And finally...what version of the subs do you have? 2 or 4 ohm dual voice coils? Verify they are wired correctly to give 1 ohm to the amp.

4ohm wired to 1ohm volt meter gives me 1 ohm at sub wiring and with the maestro the truck throws check engine and the maestro allows me to use my a/c and seat heaters and such. Cuz that mess was digital on the original headunit. Yes bassknob is connected I turned it all the way up and flattened all eq when setting the gains with 40hz -5 test tone. But I never rock it full tilt at the knob
