Subwoofer in a Regular Cab ?

How are you guys attaching these boxes into the truck?? Are you removing the storage tray or fitting the box to fit in it?

Skyjockey most of us have removed or cut down the storage tray. Some of us have even went a little further and cut the back wall cover to gain between 1" to 3" extra depth for little more box space. As of right now mine are held down by their weight but i will be attaching them to the back wall as soon as i get my new amp in.

There's some nice setups in this thread.

Here's my setup. A custom built, ported enclosure tuned to 30hz. It's around 1.75 cu.ft. net. The output is incredible. Though large, the enclosure was built so I could slide the driver's seat all the way back.

I had a 12" DC Audio level 3 at first but, upgraded to a 12" FI Q with the cooling option. The FI Q handles twice the power of the DC (~1800 rms vs. 900 rms). I just need to remove the back panel and do something about the vents back there. They flap around when the sub is turned up and really starts moving air.

Has anyone tried test fitting any of the Kicker Subwoofer Upgrade optional boxes that Mopar offers on other vehicles? Some of them look pretty shallow from what I've been able to see in pictures
