I'm looking at the Superchip 3865. One of the tunes I'm most interested in is the tow tune. I was wondering how this jives with the factory tow mode. Is it still necessary to utilize the tow/haul button?

The tow/haul mode is there to keep your transmission from lugging in a high gear while carrying a load. It basically keeps it from going into overdrive. i believe it also changes the shift schedule/timing.

Unless Superchips tweaks the tow/haul shifts, the only benefits from running the tow tune with the tow haul mode on would be the increase in power in pulling and possibly better fuel economy compared to no tune at all.
