It looks like you just need an update on our end but I can't be certain until I get more info.

Shoot me a PM with what info Jason gave you on the issue. I will look into this personally for you and see if I can get things moving faster is possible.

if it's a new dealer file we haven't seen before requiring your programmer to receive an update the usual turn around time is between 24-48 hours.

Scott

Sil, can you clarify? I have had the PCM updated to the latest version. And and again checked for updates and it was said to be the latest. If the StarScan determines there are no new updates available, I am told the StarScan cannot force a reflash, but just notes "no new updates available". The truck is currently running stock with no DTC. Dealer stating "there is no problems with the truck". IDK, waiting for (SC) Jason to do some magic.....

Hello Scott,
Is there any word on the status of the update?

Engineering has an update online for you. Give it a shot and tell me how it works.

Scott

Scott,
It didn't work and I have PM'd you.

Monday Update: I spoke with Robert this morning and he said he'll send the trouble call (SRN26306) back to technical. As i told Robert I'm out of time here with work and going overseas. The last round with the tuner was it acted like a new tuner and saved both File #1 and #2. then stalled and stated "Vehicle requires Factory Update" and record "56028769AF". If I can be assured that the tuner is fully removed, perhaps I should do as Robert suggests and return it and get my money back. Being left hanging on Friday with no followup I have to seriously question whether this problem will be resolved. I have no idea how trouble calls are prioritized, but this has now been five days. I welcome any support you can provide to bring attention to my trouble call and hopefully end this with a successful conculsion.

I'm having some problems with my Flashpaq 3865. I posted in the superchips forum to see if i could get an answer. I bought the tuner from a guy that had just sold his dakota. I updated the tuner before i installed it in my truck. I was able to read the stock tune but on my first attempt to adjust the tuning options (speed limiter, rev limiter) the tuner restarted on me. The second attempt was successful. But then i purchased the Transmission update and it restarts every time i try adjust the TM and Shift schedules. It does it at random times and It seems to only do it when i am pushing on the directional pad. Its not causing any problems with the truck or anything but It is getting very annoying. Has anyone heard of this happening? Do you think this could be a software problem or hardware problem?

Brandon, I replied in DF as well... Send Scott@Superchips a PM and he'll work with you to get this fixed up. They may ask for you to send your tuner to them to diagnose.

I've played a bit with my schedule and have tweaked the mid-range PT shifts of many of the shift tables. The transitions between first, second and third are smoother and 4th and 5th have a much better feel. It should be up on the server shortly -- Mark's Shift Schedule-12.xls

Should be no cost to you...Other than putting up with stock tune if you have to ship it back to SC.

Scott,
Another week has gone by. I called and left messages for both Jason and Robert this afternoon asking for the status of my trouble call #SRN26306. Neither returned my call. The push is over, as I start travel on Sunday. So take your time and if you have a chance update me once in awhile....

Sorry for the inconvenience on this issue. I am still waiting on an update from engineering on this. I will update you the minute I hear word back.

Scott

Scott,
I got a call that a new update from the engineers was waiting for me the afternoon before I flew out. I downloaded and attempted to tune my truck and it was the same old deal (polite response). Tuner gave me the truck's current version number and stated "requires Factory update". The fact I had a SC3865 loaded in this truck last year with a older version seems to have gone un-noticed as well as the truck being updated by the dealer a month ago just before recieving the new turner. It will be six months before I am stateside again, and then I will have a different dealership reflash the PCM again and try loading the tuner. I am being ****** around, I just haven't figured out by who... I do appreciate at least being able to talk to SC Tech Support, which feels far better then the ******* blank wall Diablo calls Customer Support.
