Simple.

Superchips: simple mods. (cai, exhaust, lt headers...)

Diablo: custom tune for big engine mods. (cam, blower, etc).

SC3865 advance trans tuning gives you full control of TM, 0%-Factory settings and anything in between, I talked to Diablo today and they do not have that adjustment, it just lowers it a little with the canned tunes. Not user adjustable. Been looking into this myself, I have the 3865 with the trans tuning option now.

I bought a SC3865 from a guy here on RF. Was looking for either DS or SC. only thing DS has over SC I think is throttle sensitivity. I just wanted another tuner and I sold that quad retrofit so now I can afford one. :********:

But yea I wanted either a sc or a DS. IDGAF which one.

I want the trans tuning that DS don't do.

But I also like DS throttle calibration too.

I got my SC3865 today. Talked to Ron at SC about tpms disable and brought up the fact that I had trans tune before and does it follow vin or tuner S/N.

He said it is tuner S/N but hooked me up with trans tune again for free!!!!

why did you disable the TPMS?

I hadn't yet bc its not working. But I need to bc there's no sensors in my wheels. Didn't change em.
