So christmas was pretty good to me financial wise and like any mature person I want to dump it into my truck. I'm looking at either a 2/4 suspension drop with the rear airbags and MAYBE a rear OE swaybar or an intake and a Trinity with a Hemifever tune. Which would you choose?

Since I liked the way my truck ran, I chose to do the suspension first! Lowering was the best bang for the buck to me. I was lucky, I found the BellTech 964SP Kit for $430. Then BellTech was offering a $150 rebate. I have since added the factory 22mm rear sway bar to replace the stock 16mm bar. And I've installed the shorter front sway bar links. The truck drives and rides so much better than it did stock!!!

That's a tough decision... Both will give you a good bang for your buck.

If you have the 8spd I would do the lowering first, if you have the 6spd I would do the tuner first.

Is that the kit with the better shocks? Rides better as in smoother or better as in sports car firm?

I have the 8-speed with 3.92 axle ratio. I like the idea of the engine performance but every time I see a lowered ram I'm like:naughty:. Did the tuner/vararam make a honest significant difference on your truck?

I'm doing all the engine mods before suspension(lift) and tires. I'm okay with changing out factory parts but money on tires is a lot of money. also I'm going 20s so i can use the same tires as i upgrade.go fast then first in my book :naughty:

The tuner by itself was the most noticeable difference of any of my performance mods.
The combination of VaraRam, TB, shorty headers, exhaust and tuner have made me VERY happy with my trucks power! :naughty:

That being said, I am absolutely in love with my suspension and the way my truck handles, lol!

It's amazing how "sports car like" these trucks can handle with some suspension work.

Basically, I am not very helpful with your decision!:roflsquared:

Here is my set-up:

I may just do suspension. I feel like my truck already has good power and I don't plan on putting headers or a bigger throttle body, so I'm wondering if just a tuner is even worth it... $600 for a tuner and eh I kinda feel something, or $600 for damn that thing looks good!

The tuner will definitely be worth the money, but there's something about the feeling you get when you walk toward your truck and it's sitting all low and sexy and ****, lol!!!

Low or lifted its always fun walking into a parking lot and your sitting next to a stock truck and you see just how good your ride looks :)

I would have to go suspension. To me unless you have a lot of mods the tuner with give you a little gain but the suspension with change the look and hacking instantly.
