What!!?? How can this be? How can one not like the Silverado but maybe like the GMC? According to one member here who has been very vocal about it, they are virtually the same truck. So there's no way this could happen. It's like mixing matter and anti-matter. No good can come of this. :D
LOL! Yeah, I don't like the front end of the Silverado. Kinda like the GMC. To confuse you even more, I do like the Colorado..........

30 minutes west of Detroit.
Howdy neighbor, I'm just north of Detroit. Guessing your out in the Plymouth/Northville/Novi area?
Guessing my next ride will have a Hurricane unless the EREV platform works out.
I'm guessing the Hurricane will probably be on par fuel economy wise with the EcoD with your shorter commute. It's once the EcoD is warmed up and stretching it freeway legs when it does best fuel economy wise.

I'd dig it personally, my favorite engine was the 351w
I had one , god it was a lazy pig, good thing I kept 500 of gas gallons in the yard. Nice truck, but that is motor is why I have Rams. Had a 300 6 in a 80 1/2 ton with a stick, that was a nice motor and had more grunt I think.

You mean there are guys here who like chrome front ends but not a blacked out appearance? Shocking I know. Subscribe for more mind blowing facts.

Yup total dog, of course not helped by the 4 speed auto and weak gears. But what I value is longevity and simplicity and nothing else. I had 3 of those 90's Ford 351w over 15 plus years and never any engine issue what so ever. Compare that to my 390hp hemi that started knocking 3500 miles new. Mind you in those forums I couldn't even remember a single knocking engine thread. It's really just what someone values. I wish we had that as an option with stout gears and an 8 speed, to help with the only downside for me which is low mpg. I was wheeling on the weekends and traveling to the snow nearly every week during ski season and it was my daily. When you have a group of friends and you are the one with the bronco there was a term for that = your driving. Road hard and put up wet, I should have never sold it the 93 bronco.

Wow you're pretty good....Northville. But I'm out on the east side all the time (Macomb, Washington), as my wife has family out there. That's the only time the EcoD gets to stretch her legs.

Mine is chrome as well. I don't mind either chrome or body colored, though I don't like excessive chrome on black. Chrome seems to hold up better to rock chips though.
I agree on both points. :happy107:

The chrome front bumper on my power wagon has killed a deer and been backed into by a vehicle. 10 years and 130 miles holding down the fort. Still looks just like the pic shows (i did do some minor tweaking with prybars and hammers lol).

Now…the painted bumper on my 2026 with 11,000 miles…i havnt actually counted them, but there must be well over a dozen or more tiny stone chips already. Cant WAIT to see what it looks like after a few more winters ugh.

I gotta disagree on the chrome on black though…man i think those black laramies with chrome look soooo good. I just cant do a black vehicle!

Nice pickup! They are so comfortable and nice to drive!

I have seen SOOOOOOOOO many posts online about these new trucks not starting, dead batteries, getting towed, dash and screen issues, dealers cant find a fix…the list goes on! Hopefully you got a good one! My ‘26 just ticked 11,000 miles and its been trouble-free and an absolute dream so far!

Does yours have the SO or HO?

Hurricane SO
It’s the SO Hurricane, hopefully it is a good one. If not the 10year 100k powertrain warranty will help
