I have a 2005 Ram 1500 with a 5.7L engine with about 180K miles on it. The body is beat up, but that is the type of use it gets. I have the opportunity to buy a wrecked 2015 Ram with a 6.7 L turbo diesel with less than 21K miles for really cheap. The radiator, starter, engine and transmission are all OK. Will this swap work?

Just a heads up, this section is for second generation rams (1994-2002). You should post this in the third generation section, or ask a mod to move it.
But to answer your question, highly unlikely. The 6.7 relies on a lot of electrics that your ecu and harness doesn't have. Not only that, all the egr equipment that your truck lacks. Front suspension would have a tough time coping with the added weight of the Cummins as well. Along with that, I'm not even sure it would fit. 2015 is a 4th generation truck. Totally different from your 05.

So.. yes, it's totally possible. Everything is possible. But it would take so much work to do, I wouldn't at all suggest it.

You'd be better off fixing the 2015 and keeping the 05 the way it. Your truck is not designed to handle the torque or the weight.
