Switch mod

I added the Aux switch panel thats and option in the 2500/3500 Rams. I now can use that to switch up to 4 things. Right now I'm using it for my subs and the Morimoto LED lights when I get them installed. Which is next soon lol

How did you get the panels off to do that ? I have some of my stock switches sticking (think it is from a coffee spill) and don't feel like paying the dealer to clean the switches if I can.

Just not sure how the panels come off, and don't want to break them.

I took the chrome ring off around the shifter off. THen took the piece around the shifter out. Then 2 screws in the lower cubbie just in front of the shifter, 1 screw behind a trim piece where the 110 volt plug is, and 2 more up top where it says dodge just under the rubber piece. Then just pull and its out.

I made a thread over on the other ram forums with everything deltailed out including part numbers, prices, diagrams and all. i havent got around to replicating the thread over here.

this should help you lot though. Make sure your ground is no more than 4 feet long and you do a 4ga from the battery to the hotside so you get enough power for all your stuff.
