I couldn’t find what I liked in terms of switch pods already on the market so after much thought and consideration I went ahead and try to mount my own switches.

The AEV pod might function well but the looks don't do it for me. Also the Spod controler looks too after market for my liking.

So here’s what I came up with. I like the appearance of stock so I try to get a switch that i thought might come stock in the cabin.

I ended up mounting three switches. I had to stagger them due to the confined space I was dealing with. After some thought it works well as I plan on having the single switch work my main front light bar. I also won’t have to remember which location works what light bar as they are far enough apart from each other. The front double switch location will work additional lights or accessories. I haven’t really determined what I want to add but I know it will be something functional . I plan on adding amber activation lights once they come in.

I also found a good deal on an overhead console on eBay. So the best part is if I don’t like this after some time I can scrap it and put my stock console back in.

This is what i would consider a rough mount. I still have a bit of work to do to finish up but i wanted to show you guys Happy saturday

I've been thinking about this too. I was planning on using the blank panel under the light switch, but I like this idea. I'll have to look for that replacement overhead console. How do you plan to run the wiring up to it?

I plan to go up the A-piller and over to the console. I didn’t use the panel your taking about for the switches because i plan on doing an on-board air set up and im saving that spot for an air gauge!

Tight working space. This one is going to be a test for sure. I dont like the way it turned out. Its hard to place switches with the home link because it takes up so much room.

I’m glad i purchased a backup lol. Always fun experiment though!
