I installed Chinese LED tail lights and rear center light a year or so ago but always get various OBD II codes stating Circuit Short to Battery or Open.

I believe there is a BCM setting to tell the system it is using LED which should fix the codes but first I wanted to verify this with you all. Also, if this is the case, what tool would be cheapest/best to fix the problem. I am thinking AlphaOBD with OBDLink MX+ or EX but am kind of new to this. I also am thinking of doing an MDS delete kit so might need a HP or Diablo tuner to set it so if I bought the tuner, would it have the capability to modify the lights to LED?
Thanks
