EDIT: This is now an intermittent issue, as it started working again the next day, just an FYI.
Just saw today that the tachometer stopped working. I did the whole self-diagnostic thing by holding down the trip reset and turning the key on and all that. All the lights and gauges come on and work per the self-test except the tachometer needle. It doesn't budge.
Is there a sensor or sending unit for the RPM's that I can test somewhere, or does this type of thing usually result in getting a new instrument cluster?
