Thanks, JB1. It will save on my knees when trying to get into the back of my truck, when needed. And for $40, what have I got to lose.

I am a Bass Fisherman so I like your profile name. Our first tournament is the 28th of April so getting near. Winters are too long. And am thinking the ladder will come in handy.

That was one of the first things I installed on my truck when I bought it last year. Quality was poor and I was reluctant to mount it. I did anyways. Not 2 months later, the securing strap broke. Purchased another strap for the hardware store. The ladder is just flimsy to be honest. It never stays secure and rattles when the strap loosens. If I had known about Amp Research's Bed Step, I would have used the money for the tailgate ladder towards my new Bed step. No comparison. And the Bed step is so much quicker to deploy.
