Tailgate latch

Well my son got bit yesterday from the recall we haven't had done.
Tailgate popped open while he was pulling utility trailer and hit the jack. Didn't know it cause the DeeZee let it go slow. First turn let tailgate open far enough to get in front of jack then crushed the top edge.
Anybody know a good place to get a replacement?

First I would contact the dealer,since it is a recall they may cover damages ! Worth a shot asking. Good luck and it sucks the tailgate was damaged

See if dealer will fix the damage, we had a few members here that got their paint and body damage fixed for free
