I'll have to get a video of where I live not quite as rural but its pretty sweet
Closest town is 10 miles , grocery store, Walmart and diesel fuel are 25 miles
We have fuel tanks and just get diesel in bulk for our trucks tractor and machines
Grow/raise most of our own food to. We eat alot of beef and a ton of venison lol

LOL... Aw come on it not that bad... Like today I had the pleasure of watch a single doe walk through the tyard in the rain nibbling on the small bit of grass. Then look up at the mountain ridge and watch it snow in the high country...

But that's why Dave calls me Mountain Man... I can live out here just fine but put me in the city I got nutz...

I live in the country and would LOVE to live out there and Michael knows it .

Dam wife .. dont ever marry a city girl like I did .. I am shocked I got her to leave the city , and for the past 10 years now in the sticks she has not left the house

I was blessed with the talent of driving backwards... Back when I was learning to drive Mom had me back the car out of the garage and down the 200 foot driveway every morning. So I actually learned to drive backwards before forwards. So If I met someone on that road I could back down the road for miles if need be to find a spot to get out of the way. Even more fun when your loaded with firewood and got a trailer behind you...

But the snow would.

Snow.. There is very little so far this year but typically I see about 1-2 foot here in the yard... Here is a good time lapse from the living room window from last year...

I still say tire chains and studs are for wussies... Never use them...Rarely even use 4WD...

Wow. I'm jealous. Been through Riggins as a kid on my way to dude ranching at Shepp Ranch several times.

My city girl just decided that she loves the Salmon / Bitterroot areas and wants to relocate there away from all the yahoos in Cali.... this happened just last week when we drove through on 93 on our way to Whitefish MT. yay!!!!!!!!!
