The more I read this the more I cannot wait for mine to arrive. Its begun its journey, but doesn't leave for Australia for another month. I've never driven or sat inside one. Just bought one cause they look so damn awesome.

Are the seats as comfortable as they look ?

I have 1500 but yes seats are awesome I have the heated and cooled leather and love it. The 4th gens stepped up the interior so much to make a overall awesome truck.

I can't believe how quiet they made the diesel from the inside. The 3rd gen CTD can get pretty loud on the inside.

Diesels are SUPPOSED to be loud! How much quieter they have made these new trucks is ridiculous. I'd think there was something wrong with it all the time! But the power they are making from the factory is insane as well. 800lb/ft tq?! :jawdrop:

Doesn't take much to get a old school Dodge (12V or 24V) to make the same amount of power as 4th gen... :D

That is a very good point. I was just observing the amount of power from the factory stock, with all of the emissions crap they throw under them these days. I can't wait till I can really build my truck for the crazy power these things are capable of

Don't loose sight on what the truck is intended for. If its a daily driver make sure you set a goal and stick with it. Since I'm in the longevity game and reliablity game I set my goal at 400 HP / 900 TQ. This way I don't have to worry about blowing up head gaskets and breaking the input shaft of my 5 speed while towing 31' Trailer.

Oh yea, I have considered that fact for sure. My truck is currently my DD, but I rarely tow. I plan to do things in stages and in a safe manor. I am hoping for a transmission here in the next couple months. Then comes an Airdog, and so on and so forth. I don't plan to be the guy that says, "Hey, I just built my transmission, lets throw 200hp injectors and a Smarty at it and say I can make 550hp" lol

Now that we got WAY off topic LOL.... sorry Burntfire
