The difference between 17" and 24" wheel weight

Finally got a chance to weigh my 24" Hellcat Reps compared to 17" factory wheels. I knew they would be lighter but the difference was a staggering 26lbs !

The truck is night and day quicker with the 17s and also slightly smaller diameter resulting in a better effective gear ratio.

The 17s weigh 58.8lbs with rubber while the 24s weigh 84.8lbs with rubber.

So 104lbs difference? That's huge in wheels. Thanks for the video. What's the weight on the OEM SRT 22S?

My 20” stock rims with 33” a/t weighed 77lbs.

That seems about right! My 20" sport wheels with tires didn't feel too much lighter than these 24" wheels when I took them off. The 17" wheels are night and day though if you can live with the looks :D
