Having owned two Chryslers , three rams, and one ford mustang with evic they all have one thing in common. With the exception of the mustang reporting two MPG under actual the Chrysler products have all consistently reported one to two MPG over actual. This is determined by hand calculating your mileage.
If we did an EVIC dependability thread I think the majority would admit their EVIC's actually show feel good numbers compared to actual MPG.
What say you?

You are correct. Evic shows around 19 and fuelly is just under 17.

Yup. My EVIC is consistently 1.5-2MPG high.

Mine changes from fill to fill. Most it's ever been is 3 mpg off, best it's been is .3 off

My EVIC typically is 1-2 mpg higher than old school calculating.

I agree. Mine has been right around 2 mpg high each time I've checked it.

Oddly, my '12 seemed to be spot on, although I didn't use Fuelly long with it.

On my '14, seems to be about 2mpg high over Fuelly. I've wondered if the evic doesn't count idle time from remote starts, which would affect it.

mine has been off my 2.5, least it's been off is 1.5. My old cars were all overly optimistic but not as bad as the ram.

I don't think that's the only thing, because I don't have remote start and mine's 1.5-2MPG off too. :D

The EVIC does calculate with remote start idle time. Mine reports about 1.5 mpg high.
