Look at the drive way I saw a puddle of water in the drive way. I'm not sure what this black container holds. But that is whats leaking. Any ideas what it is?

And how much would it be to get it fixed.

I think it is the oil pan? any reason why it would only leak out clear? there is synthetic oil in the truck right now, would that make a difference?

Looks like your oil pan plug is leaking a little bit. That should not be clear. It should look like the oil that is in your engine. If it is clear then maybe you have water in your oilpan? THAT is not good. Oil will float on top of water so that would explain why the water would be leaking and not oil. But, it is probably just oil. Especially if the oil has been changed very recently and is still pretty clear ya know. Gently snug that plug. Don't over-do it. It probably needs a new crush washer on it. It's pretty common for them to leak.

If it isn't loose then it probably just needs the new crush washer. It'll be fine. Good luck buddy

There is no crush washer with these plugs its a rubber gasket molded into the plug. If its bad change the plug. I suppose you could replace it with a regular plug and crush washer but ive never had a problem with dodge plugs unless the threads were damaged.

In the first picture the area surrounding the trans pan appears to be greasy as well...
