Back in 2007, I bought a new 2500 Cummins with the 5.9, and I have always loved that truck! Last of the 5.9 and no diesel emissions. I trade trucks out faster than I change my shoes, but kept that 07 for 4 years. Hind sight being what it is, I wish I would have kept it.

Yep the 07 Mega Cab 1500 on a 2500 frame/suspension 5.7 was one of our great ones. Best Hwy truck we have had.

I had a 93 f250 7.3 manual, perfect body and paint, great interior, only 170k miles. Like you, that is the one truck I wish I never sold. I wasnt happy at all with my vehicle situation until I got my 2500. I've had 30 different rigs in the past 5 years and that is the only one that I got attached to lol

I had an '05 Ram Daytona rcsb in GoMango Orange. What a truck!!! Looked killer and was a beast. It started to rust out on the tailgate and rear bumper. It also had a dime sized hole in the driver's seat, so I ordered my 2016 Ram Sport rcsb in November of 2015. I had the Ram Daytona for almost 11 years. Only one real issue with it and that was the EVAp system, which was common for those year trucks, but it was 100% covered under warranty and once fixed, it never gave me an issue again.

I like my 2016 Ram Sport, but with the recalls and the stupid brake squeal at 13k miles, stupid God awful door closing sound I get once in a while, it kinda ruins it for me. Not too crazy about the MDS with the way it kicks in neither. If it was a smoother transition, it wouldn't be too bad. The interior of the 2016 Ram Sport is really nice though. It blows the interior away in the Daytona. No question about that.
But yeah,.......I kinda miss the '05 Daytona I had.

I absolutely love my 11' 1500. So much so that I never even consider driving my 17. When I finally sell it I'll likely feel the same way.

Geez! You paid a small fortune in tax/title huh?
You've got no idea. Ticks me off that idaho gets a 6 percent sales tax on every vehicle transfer under the name "use tax". I have no idea how many times the state of idaho has collected sales tax on the 1972 k15 I just traded away. And on top of that it's a felony to lie about the price paid for a vehicle. ********.

We have GST of 5% and 7% PST every time a vehicle changes hands so 12%. Then luxury tax. If you buy a vehicle over 150k the tax bill is 25% on the total new or used.

That is flat BS. If a vehicle has been sold once then that should be that. Dont even get me started on the "gas guzzler tax".

Yeah, that ******** gas guzzler tax ****** me off. I had it built into the sticker of my 2013 Roush Stage 3. I forget how much it was, either 1,300 or 1,500 bucks.
Stupid.

When I first got to Fort Carson, CO. in 2003 (2 weeks before my 1st deployment) I bought a '68 Land Cruiser FJ40. I sold it after my 2nd deployment, that is the one I wish I didn't let go. As well as my '77 BMW 630CSi I had in the early 90's. I bought that car with less than 6k original documented miles. :banghead:

PM me if you want to know more. I've been living here for almost 20 years. Also, only 2 counties do vehicle emissions, I can tell you about their requirements as well
