That's funny **** right there now , I don't care who you are !!Yikes...when I bought my truck in 2012, last thing I though about was MPG.
My thoughts when buying a truck:
1. Awesome space to haul ****
2. What can I tow
3. 4x4 is my friend
4. This is one big *****
5. Parking with no camera...I'm gonna have to get use to it
6. Nobody is driving it but me
7. Should I drop it or lift it
8. Definitely new tires down the road
9....it's black so it's gonna be hot as **** to clean
10. It's a truck so it needs to be dirty and muddy
11. Mods here I come
12. I need to make more money
234,125,432.....it's hope I get good gas mileage out of this giant aerodynamic brick on wheels.
I'm just being silly here...not serious at all. If you are worried about MPG, that's up to you, and I hope you get what you want, but don't forget to drive it like a truck.

NOPE.....books says 87 - 89, and recommends 89, but 87 is allowed
5.7L Engine
This engine is designed to meet all emissions
regulations and provide satisfactory
fuel economy and performance when using
high quality unleaded gasoline having
an octane range of 87 to 89. The manufacturer
recommends the use of 89 octane for
optimum performance. The use of premium gasoline is
not recommended, as it will not provide any benefit over
regular gasoline in these engines.
And the chart in the back of the book shows.....
Fuel Selection – 5.7L Engine 87 Octane Acceptable - 89 Octane Recommended
lately every thread here turns into a **** measuring contest
